# Installation

## Tablet - Installation <a href="#title-text" id="title-text"></a>

The following is the process for loading the application onto the tablet:

**Installation Guidelines:**

The application is obtained from the Android play store. Install the retailcloud Tablet application on the tablet as you would any application.

Once installed, Explore the application using the [**Demo Mode** ](/point-of-sale/tablet-pos-tabpos/getting-started/demo-mode.md)or [**Register**](/point-of-sale/tablet-pos-tabpos/getting-started/register.md) the retailcloud tablet account using your specific domain information (this would be performed by the system administrator).&#x20;

It is recommended to move the retailcloud tablet app to an external SD card if the tablet doesn't have sufficient memo
