Skedool has an integrated/built-in point-of-sale (POS) system that enables faster checkout for your salon. You can now spend less time at checkout and more time with your clients. Check guests in, handle sales transactions, invoicing, receipts, retail product management and chair upgrades, all at the click of a button.

Sales Transaction

Follow the steps below to perform a sales transaction.

Service items will be automatically added to the cart.

Step 1 : Adding Items to Cart

  • Users can add items to the cart by simply clicking on the item from the ‘All Items ‘ list or Quick Picks on the transaction screen.

Or

  • Users can also search for the items by clicking on the ‘Search icon’ and add it to the cart.

Step 2 :

  • To add a transaction level Discount to the sale, click on the ‘ + ‘ button → Apply Discount → Select the discount from the dropdown box → Click Apply.

  • To exempt or include a tax during a sales transaction, click on the ‘ + ‘ button → Exempt Tax.

  • To clear the items from the transaction cart, click on the ‘ + ‘ button → Clear Cart.

Step 3 : Click again on the ‘cart items button’ to proceed further which leads to a tender selection screen.

Step 4 : From the Tender selection screen, select any option to process the transaction :

  • Cash

  • Credit

  • Debit

  • Gift

  • Check

  • Split

Step 5 : Click on ‘Proceed to Check out’.

Step 6 : Provide the email id in the field provided and click on Email Receipt to receive the receipt by email ( receipt will not be printed).To print the receipt, click on ‘Print Receipt’.

Step 7 : Click on ‘Start a New Sale’ to exit the screen and start a new sale.
