Re-Registering TabPOS

Follow the instruction below to re-register the TabPOS application.

Please make sure the terminal is powered up, connected to the internet and all applications closed.

  1. To re-register the TabPOS application, Uninstall/Delete the retailcloud tablet application on the tablet as you would any application.

  2. Install the new TabPOS application from the Android Play store/Pax store or else the retailcloud support can push the application to your pax device.

  3. Click on the ZeroPOS application icon to register and login.

  • Click on Register to register the merchant account .

  • Enter the information in the fields provided using your specific domain information (This would be performed by the system administrator).

Fields

Description

Username

Enter the username supplied on your welcome letter (email). If you have not created a merchant account, select Sign Up to start the sign up process.

Password

Enter the username supplied on your welcome letter (email). If you have not created a merchant account, select Sign Up to start the sign up process.

Company Code

Enter the Company Code supplied on your welcome letter (email). This is usually the name of your business.

Register ID

Enter the register ID supplied on your welcome letter (email) - This is usually 1 (If you have multiple registers, do not use a register ID that you are using on another device. Each device should have it's own register ID.

Using the same register ID in multiple devices will cause conflict with sales transaction reporting.

  • Click on the ‘Register App’ button.

  • You will see the tablet synchronizing database which just means that it is downloading all of the information you entered into CAS and setting itself up to record vital information as a register for your company.

  • Once the synchronization completes successfully you will get a success message and you are now able to log in to the device, using your Username and Password for your domain.

  • Click ‘Login’.
