# Modify Master Item

Go to **Management** --> **Inventory Classification** --> **Master Item**

To modify an item on the master item screen,

1. Enter information to display the item you want to modify, such as item ID or product name.
2.  Press search (Just pressing search will display all items in the database that are Store items). 
3.  At the top of the page it will display the number of items that fit that criteria. 
4. Scroll down and you will see all items that fit the criteria. 
5. Check the one you want to change. 
6. Press Show
7. The data for that item will be displayed. 
8. Make your change. 
9. Press Save
